Blocks and items¶
Work contract¶
Hires an adult villager; one with a job stays at its block (see Hiring). Right-click the villager with it; the contract is used up.

Shapeless: the ingredients can go anywhere in the grid.
Wicker basket¶
Contract and workstation of the carrier. Holds 6 stacks and up to 3 routes. Right-click the air with it to plan routes.

Chopping block¶
Workstation of the lumberjack. Villagers walk around it instead of climbing on it.

Woodcutter¶
The stonecutter for wood and workstation of the sawyer. Turns logs, stems and bamboo blocks into planks, stairs, slabs, fences, doors, signs, ...; planks into stairs, slabs, buttons and sticks.

Carpenter's bench¶
A crafting table for wooden goods and workstation of the carpenter.

Pit stake¶
Workstation of the pit digger. The ring of string on the ground that touches the stake is the pit; string connects to the stake. Its overview shows the pit and sets the place of the ladder and the depth. While you hold string, every pit stake nearby shows its pit as an outline, or the strings that are wrong in red. Villagers walk around it instead of climbing on it.

Kiln¶
A brick furnace for building materials and workstation of the kiln operator. Works like a furnace, with its recipe book and at its speed, but fires no food and nothing the blast furnace can smelt: glass, stone, smooth stone, bricks, terracotta, charcoal, dyes, ... The tabs above its screen lead to the overview.

Trading counter¶
Workstation of the shop assistant. Right-click it to open its overview. Villagers walk around it instead of climbing on it.

Mining bench¶
Workstation of the miner. For you it is a mill, used like a stonecutter: cobblestone and other stone to gravel, gravel to sand or flint, sandstone back to sand. The tabs above its screen lead to the overview, where you pick the miner's tunnel.

Village chest¶
A chest every worker nearby takes its wage, tools, saplings, seeds, ladders and torches from by itself, see Village chests. Use it like a chest: two village chests next to each other form a double chest (sneak while placing to keep them apart).

Stonecutter (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the stone sawyer. Every stonecutter opens the cutter menu of this mod, which looks and works like the vanilla one but has the order box and the tabs of the station above it.
Loom (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the shepherd. The tabs above its screen lead to the overview; the loom itself works as usual.
Target (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the guard. Right-click it with an empty hand to open its overview. No vanilla villager takes it as a job site.
Fletching table (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the fletcher. It has no screen in vanilla; right-click it with an empty hand to open its overview.
Lectern (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the librarian, who enchants at an enchanting table within 6 blocks. Right-click a lectern without a book with an empty hand to open its overview; with a book on it, it opens the book as usual.
Grindstone (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the weaponsmith. The tabs above its screen lead to the overview; the grindstone itself works as usual.
Cauldron (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the tanner. Right-click it with an empty hand to open its overview; with a bucket, a bottle or leather armor in your hand it works as usual. An empty cauldron and one with water, lava or powder snow are the same station.
Brewing stand (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the apothecary. The tabs above its screen lead to the overview; you can still brew at it yourself while the apothecary does not.
Barrel (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the fisher. The tabs above its screen lead to the overview; the barrel stays a barrel for your items.
Smoker (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the butcher. The tabs above its screen lead to the overview; you can still use the smoker yourself.
Composter (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the farmer. Right-click it with an empty hand to open its overview. When it is full, the bone meal comes out first; with an item in your hand it composts as usual.
Blast furnace (vanilla)¶
Workstation of the smith. It opens as usual; the tabs above its screen lead to the overview.
